It is with great regret that we advise of the death of Rafael Santana after a short illness with cancer.
Rafa was a hard working employee who served the community for over 30 years.
Rafa will be sadly missed by all owners and visitors alike.
It is with great sadness, that we report the death of José Juan Acosta Acosta, after a short illness aged 69 years. José Juan was a faithful member of the Technical Services team for many years and will always be remembered for his happy demeanour and work ethic.
Also Bob Packer died on the 27th December, aged 87 years, after a long battle with Parkinsons disease. For many years Bob served the community as a committee member and then President.
All will be sadly missed and condolences to their families.
Community Wi-Fi System.
Although we have made considerable effort to make the current Wi-Fi system available to all apartments, this has proved to be impossible to consistently maintain and has resulted in many complaints from frustrated users.
It is proposed, therefore, to offer owners a much improved system, which involves the purchase of a router to serve individual apartments each of which will have their own password. The router will be supplied and installed by our Television Engineer and is connected to the aerial socket in your apartment. No telephone line is required but it does require access to a power socket.
There is a one-off cost of approximately €170 to purchase the router but no further costs are involved. If you are interested in joining this scheme, please contact Carol in the Community Office who will make the necessary arrangements
